Biography
Brandon Layne, a native of Chattanooga, has been a paralegal for Tidwell and Associates since 2020. Before his arrival at Tidwell and Associates, Brandon participated in a summer internship program as a Deputy Clerk at The Hamilton County Criminal Court Clerk’s Office. Brandon also holds a paralegal certificate from Chattanooga State Community College. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) with a major in Political Science and Minor in Anthropology, graduating with honors. Brandon is a lifetime member of Lambda Alpha Anthropology Honors Society.
While studying at UTC, he had the amazing opportunity to study abroad in China, visiting 5 different cities during the summer of 2018. Brandon loves travel and exploring different cultures. He takes home memories and lessons learned about different ways of life and applies them to his own. In fact, Brandon’s passions are understanding the history of humankind and how administrative decisions can affect the masses. Luckily, the legal field is the perfect sandwich of the two and is what inspired him to begin his legal career.
When he is not at the office, Brandon enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Marlee, and their cat, Charlie, and enjoying all the outdoor adventure opportunities the Tennessee Valley has to offer.
